III gross.
     April 28, 2006 // 11:31 PM

I hate AP classes. Oh they love to torture me. I can't wait until AP tests and school is over. It seems as though I'm always waiting for something else. I guess, when I don't have something to wait for, I just get bored and look for something to wait for.

I can't wait for college. But I'm scared out of my wits about what's going to happen when I get there. Cal is going to eat me alive. Why! Why in the world am I going there. When I look at it, I don't even compare next to the people who are going there.

Anyways, time for some high school blurbs. Senior Ball is in 2 weeks. My birthday is in about 12 days. How wonderful. I got my voter registration card in the mail yesterday. I'll be able to vote in June's election! This also makes me feel very old.

I went to Kevin's today and we watched some movie called Winged Migration. I thought it was a documentary. Turns out, the thing was totally staged when we watched the making-of part. Unbelievable! These French guys bore these geese, and cared for them and taught them how to fly, and made it so they saw them, humans, as their mothers. And thus, they were able to film them at such ungodly angles and positions. But what's terrible is though, is that when the movie is finished, what will the geese do? They won't know how to live on their own. In one scene, they followed the camera men and all of a sudden, they dispersed and went a little wild. Oh my oh my.

It's getting quite hot nowadays. That rain is really done for. Good thing too. Although, it could be a BIT cooler. I guess we're never satisfied.

Gross, I have to wake up to go to the AP Gov session tomorrow. I am going to not know ANYTHING. Too bad.

III Spring Break is over :(
     April 23, 2006 // 12:24 PM

Well, that break went by quicker than I had hoped. It was nice though, I guess. Wasn't too great because I didn't go anywhere really. The last two days left me deadbeat though.

I went to Davis with Kevin and his parents on Friday. I must say, that campus is gigantic. My legs were shot after trekking around the campus. The dining commons are crazy. Pay once and eat as much as you'd like. No wonder freshman gain so much weight. Pretty decent food, eat all you can? Yikes. We met up with Kev's cousin and I also visited my second cozzz. Davis' dorms are pretty big. The new ones anyways. I hardly got a wink of sleep on the way there and back. Sitting in the middle of the backseat=not comfortable at all.

Yesterday was spent at Cal Day. Whoohoo. The more I go there, the more I love it. The campus is a good size so I think I know my way around for the most part now. And I love the views of the bay from the campus. Yesterday was just a rush-type thing. All these clubs and organizations and departments trying to sell themselves. haha. We picked up some goodies along the way. The library is insane. Shelves on wheels! The library is almost a maze though. I would get lost quick. The main stacks are like none other. I suppose I'll know the ropes in there eventually. >.< The dorm rooms are decent if you have a double. A triple is just not good at all. A double in that kind of room is okay, but a triple is beyond pushing it. Haha.. unit 2! I want a new dorm though. Too bad my chances are slim since I'm a first year.

We all went to eat at Gypsy's again. I don't think I'll ever be able to finish a whole plate. Gracious. And Japanese Snacks' teriyaki = no good.

I also burned a roll of film basically all on the campus too. I forgot to mention the view from Lawrence Hall of Science is so beautiful! Too bad there was overcast yesterday. But man is that place high up or what. It was really cool in there though. And we passed by the Cal Memorial Stadium too. That thing was huge! Seemed bigger than the Pavillion.. But maybe thats cause I only see half of it when I go watch tennis. :P And speaking of tennis. I briefly looked in on Cal vs Stanford tennis yesterday. Cooool beans.

Anyways. Now I'm tired of walking and going from class to class at MHS seems like cake.

The rest of the week was spent doing math and rotting in front of the computer. Well I'm off to Sean's to work on math.

III man im glad this week is over
     April 15, 2006 // 11:40 PM

This past week was the most stressful week I've had all year. Not even finals week topped this one. What really killed me the Yeats paper we did for English. I think i worked hard on it. I hope I get at least a B. I doubt I'll get an A, just because I expect Mr. Rib to find something wrong with it. And when I mean wrong, I mean completely wrong. :(

Today was great. I went shopping with my mom and they had sales galore at Macy's. Everything was like 30% off and 50% off on top of it. Plus my mom had at 15% off coupon. LOVES IT! I got cropped pants and a shirt and finally, a prom dress. All that.. totaled to $50. How is that possible you might ask? Lets just say I got a good deal on my prom dress. $25. Geez. I feel cheap almost. But really though, I would've paid at least $70 for it. Besides. I don't feel the need to go out and find an expensive dress just because it's prom. If I like the dress and it's a good deal, why not? I just feel bad that Kevin will probably end up spending more money on his tux than I did on my dress. haha.. But really. I'm lucky I stumbled upon it. It's ivory and goes to about the middle of my knees and ankles. Yup. Finally, an ALMOST long dress. <3

Things to do this spring break:
+ Fill out scholarship info
+ Do or get ready for Interact Officer interviews
+ Visit UC Berkeley again
+ Take pictures for my photo portfolio
+ Do math packet
+ Do english practice multiple choice
+ Cut my hair
+ Catch up on all the lost sleep from last week
+ Fill out my SIR and housing app

There's probably more, but that's all I can think of now. -_-

My mom taught me how to knit. I need to get thicker knitting sticks. Mine are too thin. It'd take me an eternity to finish anything.

I just blogged to kill time. Time is killed. Bye!

III It's cold cold cold!
     April 04, 2006 // 6:40 PM

I can't believe it's spring but I just came back from having to walk around in my rain drenched shoes and socks all day! Gross!

Today wasn't that great of a day. I came home today and was hungry, so I kinda went nutso on my tortilla chips and salsa. =[ I'm so ashamed. I really need to cut down. The Tamvin diet isn't going so well. Kevin ate pizza today and yesterday. Bad! :'[ No more yucky junk food and smaller portions I say! me oh my!

Well it looks like Davis and San Diego are out of the question now. For some ungodly reason, I was accepted to Berkeley. I can't answer how. I think it was an error, but I'll take it. I think I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out if I was really in or not. I'll be doing their Fall Extension Program in the Fall and live on campus. In the spring I'll be really in. Scary.

Apparently, my relatives are really proud of me. I really don't see how I did it. I leave a note to all Sophomores and Freshman cause I hate the juniors, get involved in a few things and be good at it. Cause I know it wasn't my grades and SATs that got me in. I really don't know. This is still weird to me. Ms. Tseng came up to me today and said congratulations. wtf? How did she know? I can only blame Grace. You.. junior :]

I didn't get my paycheck yesterday. I'm sad. I want it. I want it I want it!

I need to buy my prom dress. And get a date. AHEM dingleberry caca head wallo wallo ping pong. keekeee.

I want to throw up. Did I mention I ate two cookies after all those chips? Oh someone help me. Looks like I won't be eating too much for dinner today!

I need scholarships, and to send my SIR. Yippeee college! Yippeeee no more juniors and losers at MHS!

Can you tell I'm really not like juniors? The cheaters stole our glory at Trojan Olympics. You know, I really hope karma bites them in the ass more than once and has them lose next year. You don't know how it feels to lose that. Especially when you have the senior class working so hard. Asses. Asses with secret practices. ergh.

I think it's time for me to take a shower. It's still freezing.
