III the first day
     August 28, 2006 // 10:21 PM

Today was actually.. pretty.. boring. My first class was Poly Sci 2 and my instructor was some Turkish graduate from Davis. That was interesting. Sociology was with some guy with a Ph. D and all he did was sing and dance which I found amusing. The only thing I was worried about today was getting to Tolman in time. Even though I had a 10 minute gap, I arrived late, but not too late. I had run out of my sociology class 5 minutes early.. after 2 people had left about 15 minutes early. When I was running out, some guy yelled out and asked if I was running over to Rhetoric in Tolman. Indeedily dooo I was! So I had a running buddy. His name is Seth and he's from NY :O! Heh.. it was just nice knowing I wasn't the only one. It turned out there was a third guy from my soc class getting there late. Good thing my rhetoric instructor told us to talk to her if we had a class scheduled before.. so it should be okay now :]

I actually went to Crossroads for dinner today. It wasn't THAT bad. I was gonna meet up with Ivy and Mehr while it just so happened Eliot was about to go too. I had alfredo sauce over penne. It wasn't okay I suppose.. After that.. some chocolate cake and frrrrro yo! :] I went back to my dorm where Eliot gave the grilled cheese sandwiches we smuggled out for Jinlin. And I watched some tennis and that was it. I think Ivy's coming now. weeee. FINALLY.

I should be reading Phaedrus from Plato but I'm "saving" it for tomorrow when I have ONE single 1:30 class. That is too sweet. I think I'll play tennis too. WEEEE. I like the fact that I get two days to do h/w. Although I don't really have much anyways.

Goodbyeee.

III moving in
     August 19, 2006 // 10:44 PM

So here I am, in my little triple room.

I feel realllly lonely, considering my roommates are no where to be seen. Strange, I figured they'd be here. I would have stayed home today if I knew they weren't going to be here.

College life is quite strange. I figure it'll be a lot of fun once I meet people.

I'm kinda tired. It's been a long day. Last night, I didn't go to sleep until 3:30am and got woken up by my dad at 7:30am. Sucks. Left for BART at 8:30 and got to Berkeley around 10. I met my roommates and that was it. I went to buy a pillow and a backpack.. nothing much else to do. Nella and my mom went home around 4 and Kevin stayed with me til about 6 or 7. Willis and Ivy came to my dorm after that and we went to the Asian Ghetto (Durant Food Court) and got some pearl tea and dinner for me. After that we checked out the Unit 2 ice cream social and stayed there a while. I met a few people and we went back to my dorm where the elevator is broken. >.< I've went up 6 stories worth of stairs at least 5 times today. That was my exercise for the day -_-

Where the hell are my roommates?!

III waa hoo!
     August 14, 2006 // 3:09 PM

Jason Mraz has written yet another wonderful post on his blog. But apparently, it's actually an email to a significant other, I might guess. Finally, he has found someone! That is too cute. This made me want to marry him:

"Just when I think the days are perfect, afternoon rolls in bringing us a wild weathered sweep of color patterns that begins with Sunset and then has that righteous California fade, where the trees turn black, the sky above all aglow, then as your eyes move higher the glow turns from orange to light blue to deep blue to deep purple where it's dark enough to already shine some stars. It makes me want dance, so I do."

So pretty.

Anyways, yesterday, Farnie and I went to the mall and I finally got my ears pierced! It wasn't ask painful as I thought, but it wasn't completely painless either. I don't feel much right now.. it just feels like it's a little bruised everytime I put pressure on it. I think it's fine though.

My sister's friend is at the cafe right now. Apparently, her sister wants to open up a shop too. Today has been EXTREMELY dead. Like I can't even bare to think about it. We've probably used more money than we've made today. This sucks. I hope there's an influx of people later. Or I'm going to be quite sad. So will my mother.

We're really screwed. We're in desperate need of a car. I think we'll have one in or hands within the next day or 2.

Speaking of days. I only have about 5 left until I enter the kingdom of Cal. =[

I feel like having some chips or a white chocolate chip cookie. ^_^

I suppose I'll get rid of that podcast thing since.. it'll turn on everytime you open my blog. I'll save you all.

III Thank Goodness.
     August 05, 2006 // 2:42 PM

Just listen while you read. Damn, I love Jason Mraz, and this podcast more than others because it has clips from the Saratoga show.

[took out podcast :p]

Last night was the Summer Java Rock Night featuring per capita, the alberts square, and ben brackett with Anton opening for them. It was quite the night. Let's just say after seeing about 10 police cars.. I've had enough panic for the whole summer. But when all is said and done, the night turned out pretty alright and the show didn't get shut down. According to the band, 80% of their shows are shut down by police interference, and like they said, thank you for the distraction down the street that cause MULTIPLE cop cars to speed over there instead. haha..

Anyways, thanks to all you who came and all you who performed. And thank you very very very much who those of you who helped and kept my heart beat at a normal rate for most of the night. :P
