I just cleaned up my sand dollar from Ocean Beach. Yesterday's trip to Ocean Beach was amazing!!! I feel soooooooo lucky to have gotten to see such a beaaautiful sunset. I really made my week. I could've stood there for hours (and I guess I did). I think I cursed about a hundred times about how I didn't have a digital SLR to take pictures with. The sky looked lovely when we got there and eventually when the sun started to set, I was SO glad I decided to go. I had a ton of photo ops and I definitely took advantage of them. ooooooh I love love love the water and I looooove sunsets. It was absolutely perfect. I'm sorry I ever said anything bad about Ocean Beach. I guess it's lovely when you don't attempt to go into the water. I wish I could've bonfired, but oh well, it couldn't have been any better! After the beach we headed over downtown to get some grub. mmmm I love San Francisco at night when it's busy and lit. Everyone was shopping of course, but I didn't let myself waste hours shopping for the fiftieth time this weekend. All in all, the trip was lovely and quite worth my Sunday.
I was really sad to wake up this morning and have to go to class. It took me like 4 snoozes to finally get up. The bus didn't come when it was suppose to and I got to class about 30 seconds before it started. I suppose thats better than being late. It was really hard to stay up in class, besides Chinese, which is always eventful. Lunch was spent with the lovely Gannon and Ronnie (oh and the Walgreens guy that was developing my pictures). On the way to OASES today the guy driving us walked us to the outskirts of Oakland Chinatown where we got vietnamese sandwiches before tutorial. yum yum yum. Today one of my tutees wrote a sign that said something on the lines of "Tammy is KOOL" for when we took our group photo. I pretended like I didn't see it because she didn't want me to, but I thought that was darling. I looove my tutees, they make me happy.
