Oh btw. Here's the lily pad picture I took at Balboa Park that I used for this layout. Woot. I'll dig up the orchid one too that I like..
This week I'm going to try not to go out as often as I usually do for the sake of saving my mom from having to tell me I go out a lot. So Sunday and Monday night I didn't go out, and I don't intend to tonight either. All this so I can leave the house with out guilt on tomorrow (HARRY FREAKING POTTER & OOTP) and Thursday. Then I'll try really hard to trap myself in on Friday night so that I can play with Eliot when he comes on Saturday and wish my Nella a happy 20th! Man, we're old.
Yesterday I got back from work and went to Kevin's to bike. But after about 10 minutes on the bike and a lot of complaining coming from me, Kevin finally agreed to run instead. If he's gonna be a lifeguard he's not going to get the workout he needs from biking downhill half the time. So! We ran over to the park and played frisbee which I really suck at and ran back to his place. Not that much running but, alas, I'm still sore today.. probably from that ugly "sprint" uphill on the bike back to his house.
Oh, I like this song! Guster - Satellite [The Astronauts Remix]
Man. Mondo Monday was skipped yesterday so today was deemed Mondo Tuesday.
Mondo--a mexican food place around here where the office orders food from a lot. I always get the same thing--small quesadilla, white tortilla with chicken ranch, lettuce, mixed cheese and sour cream. I'm so damn full. I went outside with my phone to take a walk outside after with the intention of calling someone but that didn't work out because I just thought everyone I could call would probably be busy so I just walked outside for a little while. I came back and here I am. With nothing to do.
I bought sidewalk chalk the other day. If anyone feels like drawing something pretty on the street with me feel free and come over. I think I'll draw something today when I get back.
For some reason, while I was driving today, I was reminded of that driving instructor I had at .. mm what was it called? Transworld? Well whatever. I remember that guy was freaking hilarious. When ever I would turn, he would instruct me to "strike it back!"-- referring to the wheel. But it was mostly funny because of the way he said it. It sounded like "strick it back!" Man the good ol' days of being young. I'm getting too old. This is sad.
